Projet Handicap violence basée sur le genre à double vitesse ( P-Handicab /VBG-2 Vitesse )
Le Mali à l’instar de la communauté internationale a célébré À 29 journée Internationale des personnes en situation de handicap décrété Le 3 décembre 1992, À ce titre la fédération malienne des associations des personnes handicapés (FEMAPH) bénéficie le projet handicap violent basée sur le genre à double vitesse( P-Handicab /VBG-2 Vitesse ),le lancement dudit projet a eu lieu ce mercredi 15 décembre à Bamako.
Le présent projet est une initiative de plaidoyer pour favoriser l’accès des femmes vivant avec le handicap aux services de santé( la santé de la reproduction qui pose un problème d’accessibilité en général pour toutes les femmes et pire pour les femmes vivant avec le handicap en terme de coût des services, d’éloignement des services, de la problématique, du bon accueil et du point de passage, l’absence de mécanisme d’alerte et de soutient) et le renforcement de leurs connaissances leurs droits en matière de VBG
Les défis rencontrés par les personnes handicapées dans le cadre de l’accès à la santé, sont énormes. Selon OMS les personnes handicapées estimées à 15% de la population mondiale dont 80% vivent en Afrique. Au Mali, elles sont estimées à 15,5%.Selon la même source, les personnes handicapées sont les plus pauvres des pauvres. Elles ont des difficultés, comme des difficultés d’accès à l’information, à l’éducation, à la formation, la santé et autres services.
Pour le suivi du projet un comité de pilotage(de 15 membres dont au moins 50%de femmes)sera mis en place au niveau national, ce comité sera composé des acteurs clés et se réunira une fois par an sur les rapports du projet. Les résultats attendus et activités prévues sont la production des supports de plaidoyers et de lobbying, organiser et rediffuser des débats TV et radios sur les conditions des femmes en situation de handicap, produire le bulletin d’information sur le projet, mettre une plateforme d’alerte (Handicap VBG),organiser des sessions de formation de 225 femmes vivant avec le handicap sur les droits en matière de VBG et SSR, organiser 5 rencontre d’échanges avec les centres en charge des personnes handicapées, organiser des missions de supervision à Bamako et dans les régions et autres activités.
